Living in Surveillance Societies

| | 2013.06.25. 21:11:25  Gulyás Gábor

LiSS [LiSS website] was the first international multidisciplinary academic programme (2009-20013) to consider issues relating to everyday life in surveillance societies. LiSS was administered by COST [European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research] and supported by the EU [EU Framework Programme], and attracted over 150 experts from 26 countries. At its Budapest event series in October 2013 Gabor Gyorgy Gulyas presented a live demonstration on cutting-edge technologies in profiling (and what can we do against it). This film documents the three-day events organized at the Central European University, including the interactive installation “Warning! We are watching you!”

The film is available in the gallery.
